You guys are such a JOKE. I honestly don’t care for Kobe’s attitude (which is changing for the better). He definitely shouldn’t have said anything to diss Gil’s game, but he is much, much better than Gilbert. He beats him on outside shooting, defense, interior play, passing (yes passing, his team just doesn’t score when he passes; hence, he feels the need to hog it sometimes); the only thing Gilbert might be equal with him on is freethrow shooting. And don’t compare Lebron and Wade in the playoffs to Kobe in the playoffs. They both won their series IN THE EAST, the JV league for the past few years. In the west they would have barely made playoffs, if that.

And Enigma, you honestly wouldn’t want him on your team to win? If memory serves me right, he was actually on a team that won 3 in a row, regardless of whether he was the leader or not. Gilbert’s 60 came in overtime with like 20 freethrows. Kobe had 62/56 in three quarters, not to mention that 81 point game. His 35.4ppg is the best since MJ, and don’t call him a ballhog because he averaged the same amount of assists in his best scoring season as MJ did in HIS best scoring season.

Don’t hate on him. He’s the best we’ve got since MJ left. (According to Lebron, Amare, even MJ himself, etc.)

itz funny dat u say dat kobe is better than LBJ and DWade….correct me if im wrong but didnt LeBron and Wade make it deeper into the playoffs last year and if my memory serves me right…DWade also won da Finals…..lemme clarify sumthin i sed earlier…Kobe’s da best individual player wit an arsenal of moves but i wuddnt put him on my squad if i had 2 put a team together to win a championship

I live in L.A, and i have to say that i hate the Lakers and Kobe Bryant. Although i admit that Kobe is probably one of the 3 best players in the league, I’m tired of everyone comparing him and his actions to MJ. MJ did more for the League than any other player in league history. He remains the best player ever and had he not retired, its more that likely that he would of had 8 rings. Now, i dont quite remember the last time that Mike ever said anything about foul about another player when he was out scored or out played (like when A.I. crossed him up). Mike was the type of player that let his game do the talking for him. Also, anyone that criticizes Agent ZERO is clearly blind and not a real fan of Basketball (let’s face it, the guy clearly has skillz). All you guys do is talk about the fact that Kobe has 3 rings, but somehow neglect the fact that if it wasn’t for SHAQ, Kobe might not have any. SHAQ has already proven that he can win in another system and without Kobe. Now it’s Kobe’s turn to shut up and do the same. BTW Kobe’s 81 point performance was against the Raptors for god sakes everyone really needs to stop talking about that.

I have to agree with gilbert, Kobe is the best player in the league but Gil is right there behind him. Kobe should not worry about things that have happen already he should worry about things too come. Like he said, the next time they meet it will be a different outcome. So what is Gil going to do stop shooting. I don’t think so. Gil just might have 80 the next time. I hope he try for 80 anyway.

kobe’s number 1 in the league, but for him to say sumthing like that was reeli messed up….i mean, ppl could criticized him for taking too many shots or unneccessary shots wen he lit the raptors up for 81 or wen he outscored an entire Mavs team in 3Qs, poor old jalen rose cudd have sed sumthing like that…but no he didnt, every dog has his day…kobe does stuff ive never seen since the jordan era but sumtimes you have to wonder…if that shot didnt go in, how much heat would he take from Phil Jackson?…so all in all, Kobe ur still the best but what you sed was messed up

and i have another point: I think point for point and pound for pound, Gilbert is the best “scorer” in the league, the man can score at will from anywhere

i thought Gilbert was real mature about handling this, i mean he could’ve easily ripped Kobe, cos that was sort of a stupid remark by Kobe (i’ma Kobe fan)

i think kobe when he talked about Gilbert having a concscience or not, he was describing himself too, i’ve seen him take 3 pters like 3 or 4 feet from the 3 point line, and he makes them, and they’re AMAZING, it’s like damn how did he get that, but if he missed it, it was like “was that neccessary??” both gilbert and kobe got that bulletproof confidence about themselves, that they can make those shots

i would think kobe would apologize to gilbert in the the game @ washington seems like the right thing to do
