Here is a review about Gilbert’s low top shoes, the Gil Zeros:
Fit: 9/10 great shoe right out the box. no heel slippage at all, which was a surprise since its a low. they fit true to size.
Cushioning: 10/10 since I have the other Adidas Formotion shoes I knew what to expect…. great cushioning which was firm and responsive, very much like the zoom 95. Heel to toe transitioning was rocking chair smooth.
Stability: 9/10 with the 3 formotion pods this was another great area. I dont usuall wear low tops but I didnt have any problems moving laterally or front to back.
Weight: 10/10 they are lowtops…..
Traction: 9/10 tried and true herringbone…. real sticky, real simple!
Overall: 9.5/10 the fit coupled with the awesomly fuctional heel cup maken for a great shoe that works well with your feet as you move around the court. I had no worries about my ankles whatsoever. Shoes look great in person, no skimping on the materials here, like hmmmmm some other companies. I would put these in my top 5 all time (2k3, zoom 95,lebron 3, 2k4) If it helps I am 6′1” 225, I play the 2 or 3 lots of driving, dunking (on occation) and glove like defense….

How come I seem to be the only person in the world having trouble with the pods ripping after little use?
First pair I had, the sole ripped after roughly 3 hours of use…2nd pair lasted 2 days of maybe..3 hours each (?) and ripped towards the end of day 2…
This is on the gil zero mid (black sz 12 just for records sake)
