Gilbert Arenas: The First Blog Superstar?

During the ‘91 Finals, the Bulls double-teamed Magic Johnson. Is there anyone you would do that to in today’s game?

Phil Jackson: We also did it against John Stockton in the Jazz series. Today, I would say Gilbert Arenas, Steve Nash at times and Dwyane Wade. You want to get the ball out of their hands in a playoff situation.

Gilbert Arenas chipped a tooth during the Wizard’s last game against Boston. He missed practice to see a dentist but will play tonight against Detroit. The Pistons better watch out because Gilbert will be playing with a chip on his tooth (or shoulder). When asked about it, Gilbert replied, “I’ll be fine. I have a good dental plan.”

Perhaps it was during this play when Gilbert went in the lane and Kendrick Perkins almost took his head off.
