Toys “R” Us is taking pre-orders for the McFarlane NBA Series 12 Gilbert Arenas Washington Wizards figure for $9.99. The figure is due to ship on April 10th. Google checkout is offering a free $10 to first time customers which essentially means you can get the figure for free (less shipping and handling).

Looks like the NBA isn’t taking too kindly to Gilbert making bets with fans during games as reported by ESPN. If Gilbert is going to get in trouble for making $10 bets with 2 fans, then the NBA must have been pissed about the $20,000 bet with DeShawn Stevenson.

“You know, I always dreamed about someone leaving a jersey on the court and having everybody run out and trample each other to get it; so I was trying to see if that would happen. But I was the only person standing out there, so I was kind of disappointed.” Arenas’s stunt fizzled because the stunned fans ringing the court at Key Arena froze and stared at the jersey while Arenas stood over it. After a few moments and with some encouragement from his date, one brave man eventually walked from his seat underneath the basket, got around a security guard and made a move for the jersey only to be foiled by the Sonics mascot, who snatched it off the floor in defiance. “Mascots are getting crazy these days,” Arenas said.”

“That’s pretty insulting. There are just certain standards, man. You can hit shots and, y’know what, ‘I’m good, you’re good, you hit a shot,’ it’s cool. But that’s like T.O. going to the star.”

“I’m not any rootin’, tootin’ bad [guy],” Garnett said. “I don’t think I would be the only one who would address that on this team, if not all 13, 14, 15 of us.”

Then the Wolves star went elder statesman: “Hey, it’s a young league right now. These young boys feel like they can do that, and until you do something about it, that’s just what it is.”

If you remember a few months back, we wrote about the Adidas x UNDR-CRWN Gil Zero collaboration. Well it appears the shoes are finally ready as Gilbert broke them out against the Sonics where he proceeded to make the game winning buzzer beating layup. For those interested in rocking a pair, the official release of the Adidas x UNDR-CRWN collaboration collection is sometime in May. No word on price but if the Vegas editions were any indication, expect to pay a high price.
