I've read it. Unfortunate, that I wrote this way before I read this blog. I totally understand Gil. I'm one of his biggest fans. No, not THE biggest...I don't believe that exists. He sounded very genuine in his blog. It's so inspiring that I cant hate on him too much. He's a very intelligent dude, he'll learn from the mistakes he makes. But that blog was amazing, very insightful and very true on the game of basketball. I respected him a lot before, but after reading his latest blog, I respect him a whole lot more.

I say a lot in the heat of the moment. If it was a home game, I don't think I would've responded that way. I still hold the torch for Arenas, and will continue to watch every game.

Stephanie, 1st u need to read his last blog http://www.nba.com/blog/gilbert_arenas 2nd thats what makes gilbert, gilbert. My friend who is a pheonix fan and i were talking about nash and gilbert. I told him that while nash is good i would have to be a pheonix fan over a wizards one. why? because nash has no personallity or at least none like gilbert. gilbert gets it 100% right in his blog, he does make being a fan fun. Like today i was wearing my gilbert jersey and was playing a game. I made one crazy shot right before i left and took my jersey off and layedit on the court and walked away (of course i went back and got it). Everyone laughed. This and many deshawn and Hibachi hand motions are part of the game and without players like gilbert to do them the game is just boring.

I'm not too fond of the move Gil pulled with his jersey.

He needs to let this stuff go. In the beginning of the season, it was real humerous and I liked it. I'm not liking it so much anymore. He's going overboard. This is a bad reflection on Eddie Jordan and Ernie Grunsfeld (owner). He could very quickly fall into the disfavor of a lot of people. I seriously think he undercut...took the focus off...a terrific performance in which he hit the game winner. It was vaguely reminicent of the time when Terrell Owens posed on the Dallas star, basically saying "this is my turf. I own you." He could be on the verge of becomming a TO. TO's career started off as very refreshing and is now freakin' annoying. That's not the route to take.

Gilbert has such an amazing story. It's not just a campaign slogan. He really has gone from Zero to Hero. He is too smart. He's too good of a player to let this s**t go on. He could unltimately be known as one of the all time greats. But, not if this continues. Perception becomes reality. If this is what people percieve you to be, it's what you're going to be.
