Washington Wizards all-star point guard Gilbert Arenas was diagnosed with a lateral meniscus tear on his left knee after Charlotte Bobcat’s Gerald Wallace inadvertently crashed into Arenas’ knee after an off-balance reverse layup. Arenas will have arthroscopic surgery later today at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington. The estimated recovery time will be two to three months. Watch out now, as Gilbert will be more determined than ever to prove his critics wrong next season. Good luck to Gilbert and thanks for the great season and bringing back the fun in basketball.

I am broken inside. I always look forward seeing Gilbert play. I don;t know how well the team is going to do, but i don’t want them to win a finals or conf.finals without Gilbert.

To bad, I thought they’d go deep into the playoffs, but now with Gil and Caron out there doomed.
