Tonic, Quigleys, Foggy Bottom and Agent Zero

Posted by gilbertology on May 31st, 2007

The Washington Post reports that Gilbert Arenas celebrated the opening of Mount Pleasant restaurant/bar at Tonic at Quigleys in Foggy Bottom during the new restaurant’s pre-opening lunch Sunday for “friends and family.”

No word if he rode there on a bike as part of his rehab, which according to the Washingtonian, he does quite a lot.

For exercise, Arenas and Wizards trainer Andrew Cleary ride bikes from DC’s Verizon Center through Rock Creek Park to Chevy Chase and Silver Spring, then return down 16th Street. “Coming back through the city is the fun part,” Arenas says. He wears a baseball cap, sunglasses, and earphones but is hardly incognito. People in cars spot him and honk. He often stops to sign autographs.

9 year old Gilbert Arenas fan Jason, combined the man of steel with the man of hibachi to give SuperArenas or GilbertMan. The only difference is, Gilbert Arenas does not have any kryptonite. Mount Rushmore also has become Mount Gilbert.
