For those who have not received theirs yet, be patient, as they are still being shipped out. If you missed out on the deal, Gilbert has said he will continue the deal at a later date.

I’m in Chicago. Shoe size was 13, Jersey was an XL.
The box it came in was pretty basic rectangle carboard box. Looked too small at first. It was shipped from a fulfillment house, but I don’t remember where it was located.

They ship UPS, no tracking. Shoe is random I believe since I don’t think they want to end up with 2000 left footed shoes.

this is kind of unrelated to the giveaway, but i was wondering if anyone here knows of a place to get an arenas swingman jersey in size M or an authentic in size 44? it’s impossible to find online.. amazon claimed to have some through onlinesports.com, but they were sold out of the sizes i wanted and i had to cancel my order.. any ideas guys?

ster: beware of fake jerseys on eBay, there are tons of them… especially for authentic… usually if it’s too good to be true, it is. unless you want fake jerseys, but i would advise against it.

it’s pretty easy to tell authentic or fake, one sign is authentics do not have holes in the fabric (perforation)… only swingman and replica do

what saddens me is that i cannot seem to find a jersey anywhere in that size.. online or in shops… i was told by onlinesports.com that new shipments will start again in fall.. can’t wait that long… i vowed to wear my arenas jersey to my college graduation.. hahaha..

Shawn: i dont trust tags because they fake those… the fakes are really good fakes and look real on first glance, but on closer inspection and compared to real authentic, the differences are obvious
Not just from China or South Korea are fakes coming from now, lots from USA are fakes too… lots of sellers making a lot out of fake jerseys, sometimes at near REAL jerseys prices
ster: size 44 is hard to find because for authentics, usually the smallest people wear is 48… but 48 fits like a XL lol

dre: i’ll put on the signed XL jersey that’s being sent to us and see if that’s okay. I tried on a medium swingman though (it was kobe’s) at a sports store.. fit really good. I should’ve tried the large. I really want to buy one now, even if it IS 170 bucks for the authentic, being a hardcore fan is expensive.. haha..

ster: well if medium fit well, im think a large is passable… but XL is pushing it, i dont know your build but i think XL will look like a dress (definitely not a good look), width wise is okay but length is too long to wear in public

i emailed auction@gilsarena.com yesterday and finally got some response…they said they’d check to see if the order was sent or not. after i got the email today, i figured mine hadn’t been sent, so i emailed them back at auction@gilsarena.com and asked them to update my address with my new one. got a reply back saying they’d send it to the new address and ship it out tomorrow. finally a response, and they’ve been helpful.
hopefully i’ll have shoe and jersey in my hands at some point next week!
