Rumors and Rants has a great entry about why they think Gilbert should look into a career as an actor.
He has the sense of humor, looks and million dollar smile to make Hollywood come calling.
They go on to make up some ideas for movies that Arenas could star in, including a Bond movie and Blue Chips sequel. If Arenas ended up going into the movie business, he wouldn’t be the first NBA player to make the jump to the silver screen. Other notable crossover actors include: Ray Allen (He Got Game), Shaq (Kazaam, Steel, Blue Chips), Gheorge Muresan (My Giant), and Kareem Abdul Jabbar in Airplane as you can see right here:

I have some family history for your information:
I was a friend of your grandad, Gilbert Arenas who lived in Tampa, Florida. We lived next door to each other, went to elementary and high school together, I knew his brothers and sister, who are all living in the Florida area now. I also knew your great grand parents, Irma and Hippolita Arenas, who are now deceased. Hippolita was born in Cuba, but Irma was from America. Have you met your great uncles and aunt and other Arenas relatives? I hope so, they were a wonderful bunch. Your great-granddad played baseball for t he Tampa Greys (a black team) Through you great granddad, I was able to see Jackie Robinson play ball in Tampa in the early 50′s, long before your time.
