What does it mean to you to be true to the game?

Gilbert Arenas is challenging you to tell him in 500 words or less what being true to the game means to you. The three of you who impress him the most will win an upgrade to your neighborhood basketball court courtesy of Spalding and his Zero to Hero Foundation.

- Each submission must be no longer than 500 words in length.
- Essay submission must be the property and original work of the entrant.
- Only one submission per person is permitted.
- Contest offered only in the United States to legal residents of the U.S., between the ages of 10 and 16 at time of entry

The winner will receive:
- 2 Spalding Basketball Backboards (including rims and nets)
- Spalding basketballs
- 5 Gilbert Arenas Adidas Swingman Jerseys
- 1 Spalding Ball Truck
- Value Estimated at $10,000
