Gilbert has updated his blog and it’s a long one.

He officially announces his cartoon Gazo the Pranksta and lets us know what Gazo means:

Gazo stands for Gilbert Arenas (G-A) and Zero (Z-O).

He’s also casting for voices of all ages and says Gazo the Pranksta will be interactive among other things. The future is “Generation Zero.”

Gilbert also reveals he has an rivalry with Chris Paul and why you should buy NBA Live over NBA 2K8:

Me and Chris Paul have an unspoken rivalry right now because my man who I work out with in the summer and I are fighting for sales.

I don’t want to tell you what game he’s on so I don’t want to give him free promotion.

I know I’m on NBA LIVE and I had commercials and he didn’t have commercials. You need to go out and buy the game that has commercials with it, because those commercials are cool.

Gilbert goes into a long rant about Halo and his “cheating”.. to summarize:

At the end of the day I’m still ranked in the top 30 in the world, even without the experience. Go check the leaderboard. That’s all my skill. The leaderboard doesn’t have anything to do with experience points, it just has to do with experience.

Gilbert tells a random story about a friend he knew that would always say he could dunk but no one ever saw it. One day he finally did it in front of friends and got so excited he passed away.

For a kid who plays basketball, if I had to pass away, that would be the way I would want to pass away — like if I won the championship and I was so happy that I passed out right there.
