The Washington Times says Gilbert Arenas is considering sitting out the season, especially if the Wizards can’t do any damage in the playoffs with him.
“If we have a chance to go far in the playoffs with me playing, I’ll say yeah,” Arenas said. “If not, then I’ll go ahead and shut it down. See ya.”
Oly Sandor of HoopsVibe says Gilbert should just sit out the season.
No 3am workouts. No hoisting a thousand jumpers per day. The Wizards, even with Agent Zero, aren’t making the Eastern Conference Finals. Think long-term. Pack this year in Gil. Lose the battle. Win the war.
What do you think?

Good for the Wizards if he doesn’t play, they’ll be able to keep him as other teams won’t offer as much.
I just worry about Jamison leaving and the core falling apart after this season. The way they’ve been playing, they’ve got a chance at the Eastern conference finals with Gil.
