At today’s Hoops for the Homeless event at the Verizon Center, hosted by Magic Johnson and Gilbert Arenas, $600,000 was raised to combat homelessness in the D.C. area.  Sadly, I can’t find any photos or videos of today’s event as of yet, but if they become available, they will be passed along.
