Looks like someone’s tying the knot!
After seven years and two kids together, Gilbert Arenas and Laura Govan are making it official: They’re getting married!
The Wizards’ $111 million superstar turned around a week of bad news — a third knee surgery that could keep him off the court through the end of the year — by getting engaged over the weekend.
“Life is about growth and getting smarter about the choices we make,” Arenas said in an e-mail. “Being a husband and father will require both of those!” We couldn’t tease out any more details (the proposal, the date); knowing Agent Zero, he’s probably waiting to break the story on his own blog.
One can only begin to imagine how inconceivably awesome this wedding is going to be. His wedding will undoubtedly make his 25th birthday party seem like a trip to Chuck E. Cheese’s in comparison.

Is the Reliable Source correct about this, because in the past they made up alot of lies… Anyway it was Laura’s birthday on Sunday.

yah sweet hes a good player.. but does he honestly think he deserves that much cash..there are players taking pay cuts for the team and he is choking them, and putting alot of pressure on himself to perform. and now the knee agian.. i would alter that contract a little and make it fair for both parties

I just wish that in respect to the couple, writers shouldn’t put “111 million dollars” and “engaged” at the same paragraph… just my dime…

And yes, Irvin, I agree that mentioning Gilbert’s salary there was probably not the best move, but oh well.
