Gilbert Arenas may have four years and more than $80 million remaining on his NBA basketball contract but in terms of a sneaker deal, he’s a free agent. In response to Gilbert Arenas’ guilty plea to felony charges back in January, Gilbert’s former shoe company, Adidas, terminated its agreement. So far this season, Gilbert has been seen on the court wearing everything from Under Armour to Air Jordan Retros.
In the Thanksgiving game, Arenas wore a pair of Jordan CMFT Max Air 12. The only problem is, the shoe was designed more so as a running shoe than basketball. Arenas learned the hard way when he slipped and fell during the game going after his missed shot. Chances are, he won’t be wearing those shoes again.
