If you haven’t heard, Gilbert Arenas is back on Twitter and he’s giving away every shoe he wore last season.

The rules are simple – Gilbert will ask one question (most likely basketball related) each day from his @agentzeroshow account sometime between 3-6pm EST. The first one to correctly answer to @sneakerchamp wins.

Some other details:

Shoes are mostly size 13, with some 12s and 12.5s
if you win one day – you can still win another day
Shipping is included (thanks to the Orlando Magic)
Living international is a-ok. He’ll ship them there too
The winner will have the option to have the shoes signed or not
You get both shoes
Shoes don’t come with the original box
There are a total of about 110 shoes (40 mystery shoes he didn’t wear)
If he has more than one type of shoe – he’ll donate them
The famous DG’s shoes worn against the Lakers were already given away to Earl Clark but he’s trying to get them back
The first shoe he is giving away are Air Jordan IX Premio Bin 23

Gilbert Arenas may be able to do a between the leg trampoline dunk and Nick Young has been known to pull off a behind the back 360 dunk but this weekend, the NBA, Sprite, and LeBron James are looking for the best dunkers in Washington D.C. at the Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown and you can help decide! Check out the video:

On Saturday, an outdoor basketball court will be setup during the during the Safeway National Capital Barbecue Battle on Pennsylvania NW between 9th and 10th street. Open call for dunkers begin at 2:30pm and the showdown begins at 4pm. If you aren’t a dunker, that’s okay. You can still check out the high flyers at this family-friendly event. NBA Legend Darryl Dawkins will be present and fans will be able to vote and interact online and through their phones. If you aren’t in the area or can’t make it out to the showdown on Saturday, you can still submit your dunk or vote for your favorites online. To learn more, check out nba.com/dunk.

Because he carries the torch of this team. No, he along with Alexander Ovechkin
and Clinton Portis carries the torch that represents D.C. sports. He’s the face
of the wizards org. and a true superstar, a guy with ice in his veins during
crunch time, swagger so high, I’ve never seen his eyes with doubts. And when
he’s on the court, neither do I.

I want Gilbert to come back because he needs something to do. He doesn’t blog
anymore so pro hoops can keep him occupied. That is why – and of course the
fact he’s one of the sickest gunners in the league when he’s healthy.

Well, if we all didn’t miss him i guess there would never be this contest. Let’s see if any of my reasons are any similar to yours.

NBA is boring without him especially when teams are fighting for the
playoffs spot.
NBA needs more highlights, not just dunks and alley-oops but shot that
would make the opponent sick.
NBA needs more of a matchup, Gilbert – Lebron, Gilbert – KObe, Gilbert -
Wade……Gilbert – himself.
We need more of Gilbert sneakers, not just what’s on the shelf but what he
wears on the court.
We need more fans owning his giveaway game-used jersey.
NBA needs some great interviews.
I want to see the Wizards putting away the hope of some of the eastern
playoffs spot by Gilbert big game.
There’s not much going on with his blog, we need some lighter side of the
game.
All-star game needs Shaq, NBA needs Gilbert.
He’s way too quiet away from the court.
I want to see the look of the opponents once grilled.

I guess i can go on forever. that’s it for now. Bye
