His Sneaker Champ site calls Gilbert the first true sneakerhead and curator of the ultimate shoe collection for the 2010-2011 NBA season. Gilbert decides what he will wear each and every game. He has commanded the attention of the blogs and true sneakerheads with his personal collection. The Gilbert Arenas movement has started and all eyes are on him.

Since Gilbert Arenas is a free agent when it comes to shoes, many people took notice earlier this week when Arenas wore a pair of $395 Dolce & Gabbanna patent leather high tops against the Lakers.

Gilbert Arenas was true to his word that the beard would be removed before the start of the regular season. Arenas sat out and watched a preseason game on the bench earlier in the week.
