Excepted to be available in April and limited to 1000, the shoe has an “ice cold” theme with inspiration from platinum chains and diamond-studded medallions.

The inspiration was actually from Gilbert’s game with a touch of the hood. I wanted the shoe to be able to be worn on your feet or around your neck. Now thanks to Gil’s injury, they can be used on your knee as well. Apply ice every 20-minutes.

The Adidas store has the Gil II Zero Customize up on their site but they don’t have any for sale yet They are likely to put some out very soon though for those who have been looking for it. Supposedly, the shoes were delayed in their release and won’t be in stores until mid to late December.

Finishline also has the White/White colorway of the Gil II Zeros.

Eastbay has the Vote for Gilbert and Redskins colorway available for preorder.

These would make an excellent Christmas gift to any Gilbert fan!

In addition, Gilbert and Adidas unveiled their “Scores for Schools” Adidas GIL II ZERO which will be made available to the public to purchase in early 2008 and be limited to 5,000 pairs.
